A Port of America brewery to open next year in New Brunswick
New Brunswick, New Jersey–(BUSINESS WIRE)–B&C Carton Company announced today that it has completed a $1.1 million grant to begin construction of a new brewery in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, which is located approximately 45 miles from the Dominican Republic border.
B&s New Brunswick Brewery, located in the town of Port-Au-Prince in the Dominican Province of Haiti, will operate as a full-service brewery that will offer beer and food to local residents and tourists.
The brewery will have approximately 150 barrels of beer, and will be located in an existing commercial building on the site of the former Port-Royal Agricultural Co. plant.
The project will also include the construction of the brewery’s taproom.
The project is expected to be completed in early 2020, and is expected for completion by March 2021.
B &Cs New Brunswick brewery is the latest to open in New Jersey, and has already attracted attention for its innovative design.
The New Jersey-based brewery’s brewery taproom is located in one of the countrys oldest taverns, which was built in 1642 and has been a popular gathering spot for locals and tourists for over 500 years.
The taproom will feature an indoor patio, a large outdoor seating area and an outdoor deck that overlooks the historic ruins.
New Brunswick, the capital of the Dominican republic, is the second largest city in the Caribbean, after Miami.
B-C Cartons Brewery, which opened in 2015, will be the first new brewery to be built in New England since Port-Bras, an Ohio-based craft brewery opened in 2001.
Port-bos will be B&&C’s third brewery in New York state.
The B&s brewery is expected expand into a second site in New Zealand, which will become the third brewery to operate in the country after the B&ams Brewing Company in Burlington, Vermont, and the Bancroft Brewing Company.
New Zealand’s new brewery will be a collaboration with local beer producer, Noodles Breweries.
Bancrofts brewery, which has been based in North London, is scheduled to open on April 2, 2020, after construction of its first site in the city.
The new site is expected with a capacity of 10,000 to 12,000 barrels of beers and will feature a 100-barrel brewhouse, which includes brewing equipment, fermenters, and other equipment.
