When Japan and the United States join together, the world’s most powerful nation won’t be happy with its new milk cartons
Japan has signed an agreement with the United State to produce a new kind of milk cartONION.
The new milk containers will have the shape of a kawaii-shaped Japanese milk container, and they will come in four colors: yellow, pink, green and purple.
The United States has been negotiating for a year to produce the milk cartoni.
The deal was announced Friday at a meeting in Tokyo.
“It is an exciting day for Japanese consumers and a milestone for our shared prosperity,” U.S. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack said.
“The agreement to jointly develop new milk packaging will provide Japanese consumers with the same convenient, cost-effective, and durable milk container they have been looking for.”
The agreement was announced at a conference in Tokyo, but the details were not made public.
The new milk boxes will come with a large glass window and a small metal seal.
They will be manufactured in Japan by Tokyo-based company Koyo.
The boxes will be sold in grocery stores, and will be available for use on grocery store shelves and at farmers markets.
The deal has the backing of the Japanese government and the Japanese industry.
The Japan Agricultural Federation said the agreement will give farmers a new way to make milk.
